Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Support and DLC to Continue in 2017

With Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare hitting store shelves last month, some might have assumed that Treyarch and Activision are done rolling out new content for Black Ops 3. Well, thankfully, if you think that way, you’re wrong.

During a developer chat livestream earlier today, Treyarch co-studio boss Dan Bunting had Jason Blundell (co-studio head) confirmed that new content will be coming to Black Ops 3 in 2017! While they couldn’t go into specifics, they did mention that something new to Zombies mode will be added. Reputable Call of Duty fansite CharlieIntel tweeted out some of the excerpts from the livestream.

As someone who really dug Black Ops 3’s multiplayer (at least until Activision ruined it with Supply Drops), this is certainly a step in the right direction for the franchise. Now, those who prefer Treyarch’s brand of Call of Duty won’t have to wait that long to get something new.

Are you going back to Black Ops 3 once they release new content for it? Or will Infinite Warfare be your Call of Duty game until the new one releases?
