Nioh Gets New 4K Trailer and 9 Minutes of Gameplay

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja showed off a brand new trailer for Nioh during the publisher’s “Greatest Games Lineup in History” livestream, a 4K compatible version of which you can check out above. It shows protagonist William meeting shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Nine minutes of gameplay footage was also showcased during the event, which you can check out below (starting around the 3:10:00 mark):

Nioh will release for the PlayStation 4 on February 7 in North America, February 8 in Europe, and the following day in Japan. The game will also support PS4 Pro and comes with the following options:

4K TVs

  • Movie Mode – Stable 3840×2160 resolution at 30fps.
  • Action Mode – Stable 1920×1080 resolution at 60fps.

1080p TVs

  • Movie Mode – Stable 1920×1080 resolution with high quality anti-aliasing at 30fps.
  • Action Mode – Stable 1920×1080 resolution at 60fps.

If you want to stick to the standard PS4, you’ll still be able to play the game in 30fps, 30+fps, or 60fps.
