Oh sure, we had a Most Anticipated Game Award as part of our Game of the Year Award extravaganza, but what games are we each, personally, most excited for in 2017? For the record, the term “games” does include non-PlayStation titles, whereas our GOTY awards piece was centered around games that are coming out on PlayStation platforms. Considering we’re called PlayStation LifeStyle, that makes sense, no?
2017 is going to have a stellar line-up if nothing is pushed into 2018 or later. It was hard to vote for just one thing like we had to with the awards. Not to mention, some of our most anticipated titles didn’t even make the top 10 list for voting. Without further delay, here are the staff’s individual most anticipated games of 2017.
Are you looking forward to any non-PlayStation titles in 2017? Sound off on what you’re the most excited about below!
Now Loading is a recurring staff-driven feature where PlayStation LifeStyle discusses anything video game-related under the sun (yes, even non-Sony platforms).

My most anticipated game of 2017 is Vampyr . I love how developer Dontnot Entertainment has made strides in every game they've made, and I'm hopeful that this vampire role-playing game will be their best title yet. I'm looking forward to exploring 1918 London, and I can't wait to see what sort of story the French studio has planned.

Hard to say with the year seemingly front-loaded and the fall somewhat mysterious.
For now:
1. Horizon Zero Dawn
2. Nier Automata
3. Mass Effect Andromeda
4. South Park: The Fractured But Whole
Not feeling Red Dead . Not sure the world will be enough to hook me. Really need a compelling story.

There a lot of great looking games in 2017, whether it's Yakuza 0 , Berserk , Dragon Quest Heroes 2 , or Digimon World: Next Order . However, the one I am looking forward to most is Persona 5 and it's not even close... well maybe Yakuza 0 is. I have yet to see anything concerning Persona 5 that I didn't love and I just can't wait to dive in and enjoy the hell out of it.

Horizon Zero Dawn and
Mass Effect Andromeda .
Horizon just to see where Guerilla goes from here and whether they can crawl out of Killzone's shadow. I'd say they can, and I can't wait to play what I've seen so far.
Andromeda is a no-brainer given my love for the Mass Effect franchise. Not only does it look graphically jaw dropping, but even the core combat looks leagues better than the past entries. If they don't butcher multiplayer, then I can see it being a Game of the Year contender easy.

From among confirmed releases, I'm looking forward to Yakuza 0 , Red Dead Redemption 2, and Vampyr . Before anyone asks, I realize Horizon Zero Dawn looks promising but I'm a bit on the fence about it. I'll need to see reviews before I jump in because the premise hasn't grabbed me yet. Also, this doesn't count as a new game but I'm all for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy .

Horizon Zero Dawn and Persona 5 for me. And they're arriving within a couple of months of each other! You know, providing Persona 5's western release isn't pushed to 2020.

Mass Effect Andromeda has me the most excited, despite me not completing Mass Effect 3 . (I'm installing ME3 as I type, and will be catching up on things before the new game's release!)

This year is going to be packed with great games, but I would have to be crazy to not pick Destiny 2 . Fortunately there are tons of others that I am eagerly awaiting including Mass Effect Andromeda , Agents of Mayhem , Halo Wars 2 (Don't worry... I will be playing on PC, not Xbox!), Yooka-Laylee , Crackdown 3 (yes, another Xbox game), Gran Turismo Sport , and South Park: The Fractured But Whole .
Damn this is going to be a great year!

I'm a die-hard fan of Mass Effect (I even liked the Mass Effect 3 ending), so of course I'm the most excited about Mass Effect Andromeda . Other games have my intrigue as well, such as Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Prologue , NieR: Automata , and South Park: The Fractured But Whole , but if I only get one game this year, it's going to be Andromeda .
