In the new Horizon Zero Dawn story trailer released today, Sony and Guerrilla Games introduced a new threat that protagonist Aloy must face. You’ll also get to see more of the post-post-apocalyptic world, some of Aloy’s allies, and a few of the machines you’ll encounter in the game.
“To learn about a new threat to her tribe, Aloy will embark on a dangerous journey that will reveal a dark plot that stands to change her world forever,” the video description says.
Guerrilla’s Jeroen Roding says Horizon Zero Dawn will answer questions raised by the trailer, including who the masked warriors are, what the source of their power over the machines is, and who will join Aloy on the field of battle.
Horizon Zero Dawn launches on February 28 in North America and March 1 in Europe, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
Back on December 8, Guerrilla Managing Director Hermen Hulst said, “The entire @Guerrilla team comes together for an update briefing on the #HorizonZeroDawn home stretch. The final push!”
