Yesterday, Sony released a promising Horizon Zero Dawn story trailer, which shows Aloy learning about a threat to her tribe. We got to see some of the post-post-apocalyptic world, some friends, and some foes. But in case you didn’t notice, The Wire and Fringe actor Lance Reddick briefly appeared in the video as well (at the 1.25 mark above).
Fans are now wondering what role, if any, he might be playing in the game. Neither Reddick nor Guerrilla Games have confirmed his involvement but as GameSpot noted, when a Twitter user pointed out that Reddick appeared in the trailer, he quietly retweeted it with no comments to add.
Reddick has been involved in a number of video games. His recent roles include lending his voice to Quantum Break and Destiny.
In other Horizon Zero Dawn news, the game’s European release date mistakenly appeared as March 3, 2017 at the PlayStation Store. Sony has confirmed that this is an error and the release date remains March 1 in the region.
