Uncanny Valley Comes to PS4 & PS Vita on February 7

Released for PC back in 2015, 2D survival horror game Uncanny Valley is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on February 7 in North America and February 8 in Europe, complete with cross-buy. At launch, PlayStation Plus members will save 15% off the $11.99/€11.99/£11.99 regular price.

A story-driven experience where nothing is as it seems and the choices you make determine your fate, Uncanny Valley sees you playing as Tom, a security guard working the night shift at an abandoned facility. While exploring the offices and corridors, he begins to uncover the secrets hidden away within its walls.

Instead of your failures always resulting in death, Uncanny Valley uses a consequence system where your mistakes can affect Tom, the world, side characters, and how the story progresses. “For example, a mistake may result in a broken arm, which in-turn presents problems when trying to use a weapon,” developer Cowardly Creations explains. “This changing dynamic impacts story and gameplay, requires players to rethink their approach to certain situations, and ensures a chilling sense of ever-present uneasiness.”

Here’s a list of Uncanny Valley’s features:

  • A huge, creepy facility to explore
  • Ominous and oppressive atmosphere
  • Compelling story with rich characters
  • Multiple endings to discover
  • Consequences which impact story and gameplay

The Xbox One version of Uncanny Valley will arrive on February 10 for $12.99/€12.99/£10.39, and you can save 20% by pre-ordering.
