Resident Evil 7 Has Nearly 400,000 Players, Stats Tracking Site Shows

According to the global stats tracker on ResidentEvil.net, Resident Evil 7 has nearly 400,000 players already, and nearly 10% of them are VR users. Since the stats site says those 400,000 players have been “welcomed to the family,” they’re likely only counting those who have progressed through the opening of the game, and those who are connected to the internet while doing so.

The site also shows that 170 years of in-game time has already been spent, players have traveled 3.6 million km, 4.84 million enemies have been killed, 44 million doors have been opened (and 86% of all doors have been left open), 800,000 herbs have been eaten, and the fastest completion time on PS4 is just under an hour. There’s other stats on the site, but be warned as they do contain spoilers.

Back in December, Capcom said they would love to sell four million copies of Resident Evil 7 on day one.

Next week, the Banned Footage Vol. 1 DLC will release. Then, on February 14, Banned Footage Vol. 2 comes out.
