EA’s Senior Community Engagement Manager Randomly Tweets “Skate 4”

Electronic Arts’ Senior Community Engagement Manager, Daniel Lingen, ended up attracting quite a lot of attention (if 7,000+ retweets and 15,000+ likes are any indication) by simply tweeting “#Skate4” yesterday. We’re not exactly sure if he’s hinting at something or simply gauging fan response but fans of the series have been asking for a new title for quite some time now.

Worth noting that Lingen hosted a community panel on the same day so it’s possible that the tweet was part of it or just some kind of experiment. Either way, he’s created quite a stir and hasn’t said anything about it since so we’re just going to have to wait to find out what that tweet meant.

Skate 3 released back in May 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, earning generally positive reviews. We quite enjoyed it ourselves (our review here), especially its skatepark creator.

Do any of our readers want to see a Skate 4?
