Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition Features All Races, New Modes

Ever since Blood Bowl 2 released in September of 2015 (check out our review), Cyanide Studio has released new content for their brutal fantasy football game set in the Warhammer universe. Now all of the previous teams will be rolled into one package called the Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition. It’s not a simple collection of DLC, though, as the game will also include a new race and game modes that weren’t in the original game.

The Legendary Edition of the game will be available both as a standalone purchase and as an expansion for existing Blood Bowl 2 owners. Those that buy the game will get access to the Kislev Circus race, which includes some ferocious (yet still very cute) bears that can be seen in the screenshot above. A new stadium called Khemri is also set to debut in the expansion, which is set near pyramids.

Besides all of the races, the game will also feature new modes for players to check out. This includes a Challenge mode that will put players in specific situations that will test their skills. Also included is a Solo Career mode, and the ability to mix-and-match characters from different races. Finally, new multiplayer features are being added that will allow players to create their own leagues and tournaments online.

Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition is set to release later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Pricing has not yet been announced, although the expansion is said to be “affordable” for those that already own Blood Bowl 2.
