The folks at Level 5 and Bandai Namco have released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom which gives us a glimpse of the game’s characters, maps, dungeons, enemies, and combat.
The trailer shows off the game’s main characters which include the game’s hero Evan as well as his companions Roland, Tani, and the Higgledies. It also gives us a peek at what looks like a boss monster called Thogg.
The story follows the adventures of Evan and his companions as he attempts to found a new kingdom and become king. The game features a typical action JRPG combat system where the player gets to control one of the characters at a time while the others act using AI.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in 2017.
