Priced at $1.99 USD each, Rocket League will be getting the Twin Mill III and Bone Shaker DLC cars on February 21. Both best-sellers in the Hot Wheels lineup, each car comes with six Decals and an exclusive set of Wheels.
Asked on Twitter if the new cars would allow for customization, developer Psyonix said, “Both Hot Wheels Battle-Cars – Twin Mill III and Bone Shaker – are fully customizable.”
Rocket League will also see an update around February 21 that adds free Hot Wheels items for all players to earn through random post-match drops, regardless of whether the DLC is purchased. The items include a Hot Wheels Topper, Shark Bite Topper, Treasure Hunt flag, and Hot Wheels Antenna.
Earlier this month, Psyonix announced that they’ve partnered with Zag Toys to release a line of Rocket League Original Minis Pull-Back Racers. There will be 12 Battle-Cars – including Octane, Dominus, Masamune, Hotshot, Grog, X-Devil, Merc, and Backfire – available this spring, and each car comes with its own miniature Rocket Ball. Some will even have a code for in-game DLC such as a special Rocket Trail or Wheel.
