Mass Effect Andromeda Will Have Meaningful Side Quests Like The Witcher Series, Says Producer

BioWare has learned some lessons from Dragon Age: Inquisition and has assured its fans that Mass Effect Andromeda will have “meaningful” side quests. The developers have sought inspiration from games like The Witcher series, which have been praised for their side stories. Speaking to PC Gamer magazine in its March issue, game producer Fabrice Condominas said:

We are approaching the completionist aspect very differently, because we’ve done and learned a lot from Inquisition. But we’ve also observed what other games have been doing, like The Witcher. And it was very important for us that the quantity of scope doesn’t downgrade the quality of whatever you are doing there.

Mass Effect Andromeda releases on March 21 in North America and March 23 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For more on the game, check out our previous coverage.
