Nioh PvP Update, Dragon of the North DLC Scheduled for Late April

A new Nioh update will arrive in late March that adds high-difficulty missions, Koei Tecmo announced today during a Japanese livestream. According to Gematsu’s translation, there are 10 types of missions, including some with the feel of boss rushes.

Then in late April, developer Team Ninja will release the free PvP update and the Dragon of the North story DLC, which takes you deep into Japan’s embattled Northern provinces. As Koei Tecmo revealed today, Dragon of the North includes new weapon types, scenarios, characters, guardian spirits, yokai, and stages.

Dragon of the North is included in the $24.99 USD Season Pass, which also gives you access to the upcoming Defiant Honor (“fight in the bloody Winter Campaign of the Siege of Osaka”) and Bloodshed’s End (“bring the Siege of Osaka to an end during the Summer Campaign”) expansions.

When Team Ninja and Sony Interactive Entertainment announce Western release dates for the updates and DLC, we’ll let you know.
