Capcom has confirmed that the free Not a Hero DLC for Resident Evil 7 will star Chris Redfield.
“Chris Redfield returns in the free Not A Hero DLC for #RE7 this Spring. Who or what is he chasing? Find out soon in this separate story,” Capcom wrote in a tweet yesterday.

In terms of paid DLC, Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Banned Footage Vol. 2 are available now. An “Additional Story Episode” is also coming, but Capcom hasn’t revealed any details yet. According to the Season Pass product page, the additional story episode will be released by December 31, 2017.
The stats page for Resident Evil 7 (only counts those who have enabled the in-game data transmission option) says there are 1.54 million players, and 145,000 of them are VR users. The amount of in-game time spent by players is nearing 2,000 years, and the amount of kills is nearing 110 million (as the site points out, the population of Japan is approximately 126 million).
