With the launch of the Nintendo Switch less than 24 hours away, several European retailers have begun to announce one-day price drops and deals for the PlayStation 4 to coincide with the event.
Price drops and deals vary depending on country and retailers but some have announced price drops to around 199 Euro as well as deals that bundle the console with games, such as Horizon Zero Dawn, and PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
While the move seems unnecessary as the PS4 is currently the best-selling gaming console of the current console generation, with more than 50 million units sold, the participating retailers may be wanting to take advantage of the inevitable shortage of Switch units.
Regardless of the timing, 199 Euro for a PS4, or around 250 Euro for a PS4 bundled with Horizon Zero Dawn and a three-month PS Plus subscription are pretty amazing deals.
