Square Enix announced today that the Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Limited Edition is now available to pre-order through various physical retailers for $49.99 USD (the same price as the standard edition). The Limited Edition includes the game, an exclusive steelbook with artwork by Akihiko Yoshida (NieR: Automata, Final Fantasy XIV), and a digital code to unlock the Original Soundtrack Background Music option in-game.
For those who miss out on the Limited Edition, the first print run of the standard edition will include a limited reversible coversheet featuring artwork by Akihiko Yoshida.
If you’re planning on buying Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age digitally, pre-ordering through the PlayStation Store gets you a static theme (unlocks instantly), and four music tracks – Respite, Ozmone Plain, Tchita Uplands, and Battle with an Esper – by Hitoshi Sakimoto (they unlock on July 11).
Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will also have a $199.99 USD Collector’s Edition, available exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store. Here’s what’s included:
- Exclusive “Judge Magisters” Mini Bust Set – Featuring busts of Judges Bergan, Drace, Gabranth, Ghis, and Zargabaath
- Selection of soundtrack music from famed composer Hitoshi Sakimoto
- Steelbook featuring exclusive art to the Collector’s Edition
- Set of Six Art Cards – Featuring Vaan, Ashe, Basch, Fran & Balthier, Penelo and World of Ivalice
- Digital code to unlock the Final Fantasy XII official soundtrack background music option in-game.
On March 23, World of Final Fantasy owners will be able to download Balthier from Final Fantasy XII as a champion summon.
Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age releases on July 11 for PlayStation 4.
