First released on Nintendo 3DS, then brought to consoles and PC a year later, Resident Evil Revelations is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in fall 2017, Capcom announced today.
“Resident Evil Revelations is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One physical and digital (NA and EU) Fall 2017!” they wrote on Twitter. “More information coming soon.”
If Revelations on PS4 and Xbox One is anything like the recent re-releases of Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6, expect a budget price, 1080p resolution, and increased frame-rate. When Capcom gives official details, we’ll let you know.
Here’s the description for the PlayStation 3 version of Resident Evil Revelations:
The story is set at a time before the Kijuju and Lanshiang bioterror incidents when the BSAA was still a young organization. Join Jill Valentine aboard a ghost ship in the Mediterranean Sea searching for her old partner, Chris Redfield. Learn the hidden truth behind the destruction of a floating city. Or play in Raid Mode for a co-op killing-spree with friends over the Internet.
Last year, Resident Evil Revelations 2 Producer Michiteru Okabe and Director Yasuhiro Anpo both said they’d like to see the Revelations spin-off series continue.
Will you buy Revelations when it’s re-released later this year?
