The PSN Maintenance on April 3, 2017 Will Last For 1 Hour

Sony has announced that they’ll be doing “routine maintenance and improvements” for the PlayStation Network on Monday, April 3 from 10pm PT to 11pm PT.

During the maintenance, anyone who already has a PSN account can still sign in to their profile, play games, and use most applications, but won’t be able to access Account Management, PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Video.

After suggesting that everyone activates their PS4 as their primary console (go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network/Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4] > [Activate]), Sony gave out their usual PSN maintenance message:

We strive to ensure that PlayStation Network services are available at all times, but occasionally we must take PlayStation Network offline to perform essential maintenance and implement feature enhancements. We are working hard to reduce the duration of each maintenance.

In recent months, Sony has kept the scheduled PSN maintenance time to around one or two hours.

If you missed the news, Sony is aware of a Wi-Fi issue PS4 owners have experienced since the release of 4.50, and the April 2017 PlayStation Plus titles have been announced.
