Seeing “by far the biggest launch for a Persona title,” and the first ever #1 for Atlus, Persona 5 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 debuted at the top of the UK chart last week. It also becomes the first JRPG to open in 1st place since Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch in Week 5 of 2013.
Looking at some of the other new releases, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition placed in 23rd, Yo-kay Watch 2: Bony Spirits was in 36th (Fleshy Souls didn’t make the top 40), and LEGO City Undercover re-entered the chart in 8th, with sales up 999% thanks to the new PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions. Back in 2013, the Wii U version of LEGO City Undercover debuted in 12th.
