Update:
Activision has confirmed that this year’s Call of Duty title is called Call of Duty: WWII.
The worldwide reveal livestream will happen on Wednesday, April 26 at 10am PT/1pm ET.
Original Story:
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was officially announced last year on May 2, and it looks like Call of Duty 2017, likely titled Call of Duty: WWII, will be announced a little bit earlier this year.
During IGN’s most recent Game Scoop! podcast, they said, “Over the weekend we’ll get some cool news, and there’ll be a big thing happening next week,” likely by Wednesday. Commenting on this tease, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier said, “Well I’d venture it starts with a “C” and ends with an “all of Duty: WWII”.”
Adding further evidence to a reveal happening this weekend/within the week, Sledgehammer Games Co-Founder Michael Condrey re-tweeted this tweet from February 9 today, teasing their upcoming title:
So proud of the work this team has been doing for the past 2+ years. We can’t wait to share more! #gotime https://t.co/Izv4rYujeN

On top of all this, an image from GameStop shows that they’ll be receiving a shipment of marketing materials on April 25 for Destiny 2 and an “Activision Title” (“COD” is used in the title):
