With just over a month to go until launch, the WipEout Omega Collection for PlayStation 4 has gone gold, Sony XDev Europe announced on Twitter. This means development is complete and the physical versions will begin printing soon.
“Well what can I say, other than #WipeoutPS4 has gone gold! We can’t wait for you to play it!!” Sony XDev Europe wrote on Twitter today. And last week they teased that “we’ll have even more WipEout surprises in the coming weeks.”
The team also welcomed Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida a couple of weeks ago, and had this to say about his visit: “Great day at Xdev towers showing [Shuhei Yoshida] all of our secret stuff and some other not so secret stuff.”
By pre-ordering WipEout Omega Collection through the PlayStation Store, you’ll receive a dynamic theme (North American pre-orders get the theme immediately, European pre-orders have to wait until launch day):
Featuring all of the tracks and ships from WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury, and WipEout 2048, WipEout Omega Collection launches on June 6 in North America and June 7 in Europe.
