WWE 2K16 Servers Shutting Down End of This Month

2K has announced that it’s shutting down WWE 2K16 servers on May 31 at 11.59 PM PST. The announcement comes via 2K Support’s Twitter account and links to its website for more info, however, the web page contained no further info at the time of this writing. You can check out the tweet below.

The game’s online services include private matches on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, WWE Live, 2K Tonight and Team Up.

WWE 2K16 launched for last-gen consoles and current-gen systems alongside PC in March last year. It received mixed to positive reviews upon release, with PlayStation LifeStyle’s sister site GameRevolution noting in its review:

Only the submission system, the occasional glitch, and some issues with the UI for creation modes hold WWE 2K16 back. Otherwise, WWE 2K16 crushes its predecessor with the impact of a Stone Cold Stunner.
