Turn-based strategy game Worms W.M.D for the PlayStation 4 is getting a free update which brings a new Forts game mode to the game along with several other updates, according to an announcement by developer Team17.
This is what players will be getting when the Forts Mode update rolls out:
- All new mode in which to take part in annelid warfare. Defend yourself in your unique fort as you wage battle against your opponents and try to infiltrate theirs!
- 6 brand new forts: Castle Hassle, Donkey Dig, Reactor, Haunted, Pink Peril and Rocket
- New customisation rewards to adorn your worms with
- Brand new crafted weapon, the Magnetised Drone which was designed by a member of the Worms W.M.D community
- Bug fixes and tweaks
Team17 has not announced when the Forts Mode update will come out, only saying that it will be heading to the PlayStation 4 version of the game soon. But with the update already released for PC, it shouldn’t be too long before the PS4 gets it. In the meantime, check out our Worms W.M.D review here.
