Slightly Mad Studios has released the first video in its monthly installment called, “Built By Drivers” for Project Cars 2. In the video series, the studio takes a deeper look into the contributions of real race car drivers to Project Cars 2.
From such specifics as tuning the steering weight to dialing in-tire feel, it seems no detail is too small to give it that much needed authenticity.
This first episode shares a behind-the-scenes look at how McLaren’s Chris Goodwin and his team of engineers at McLaren Automotive are working directly with the Slightly Mad Studios team to contribute their knowledge of high performance engineering into the development of the McLaren 720S supercar in the game. All this to ensure Project CARS 2 delivers an unparalleled driving simulation experience. We’ll share more “Built by Drivers” videos in the months leading to launch, so stay tuned! www.builtbydrivers.com
Set for release later this year on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Project Cars 2 is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Bandai Namco.
