Spider-Man Homecoming star Tom Holland is attached to play a young Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movie, Deadline reports.
Furthermore, Deadline’s report says the Uncharted movie will act as a prequel to Naughty Dog’s Uncharted games, drawing inspiration from the sequence in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception where a young Drake first meets Sully.
The report adds that Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman decided to redraft the movie as a prequel after seeing the latest cut of Spider-Man Homecoming. A new writer will be brought on board to create the storyline that follows Nathan Drake as he grows into the adult treasure hunter from the games.
