In a press release, Curve Digital has announced that competitive local multiplayer game “Jump Stars” will be out this June 6 on the PlayStation 4 for $9.99.
Developed by Jamit Games, Jump Stars is both a competitive and cooperative game that has the player be in a game show. Your goal is to reach “The Gauntlet” for (in-game) fame and fortune by earning enough team score in each of the random mini-games. Check out the details straight from the press release.
Jump Stars has players cooperate as a team to score points to advance past challenges, and then let’s players jump, punch, break, munch, explode and crunch teammates out of the way to steal first place.
The game shakes up the genre by tasking players with simultaneous competitive and cooperative goals for the good of the party – whilst ensuring that their individual achievements will see them emerge on top. In this bizarre game show players compete in a selection of unique mini games, each of which wraps a simple premise around a devious twist.
Jump Stars will party its way digitally out on the PS4 this June 6, while the Xbox One and PC versions will be out on June 9.
