Bandai Namco has announced that anime series Little Witch Academia is getting its first game entitled Little Witch Academia: The Witch of Time and the Seven Wonders, which is launching exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in Japan later this year.
The new action-adventure game, which is being developed by A+ Games, will feature an original story that will have protagonist Akko and friends searching through Luna Nova Magical High School to uncover its seven wonders. The game will also feature the same “detailed facial expressions” and “dynamic movements” found in the anime as well as CG animation for the game’s battle scenes.
Little Witch Academia: The Witch of Time and the Seven Wonders is scheduled for release on the PS4 sometime later this year. There’s no word yet of a western release. In the meantime, check out the announcement trailer and a few screenshots above.
