Report: Tom Holland Has Two Actors in Mind to Play Sully in Uncharted Movie

Spider-Man: Homecoming Actor Tom Holland, who is also playing a young Nathan Drake in Sony’s upcoming film adaptation of Uncharted, said in an interview with Yahoo Movies that he has two actors in mind to play Sully.

According to Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal and Chris Pratt could play the role of Nathan’s one-time mentor, saying that Gyllenhaal “could be really cool” but quickly followed by saying that Pratt “would be a great Sully” and that they’ve “become very good friends with over the last few months.”

I think it could be cool, because if it was an older movie I would say that Chris should play Nathan, but I think he would be a good Sully and I love working with Chris.

Holland also talked about how he pitched the Uncharted movie to Sony Chairman Tom Rothman saying that he “had the idea that maybe a young Nathan Drake would be something that audiences would be very interested in” rather than just copying what the games have done.

The Uncharted movie is currently in pre-production and has no release date so far. In the meantime, the upcoming Lost Legacy DLC for Uncharted 4 is only a few months away and is set to release on August 22.
