On Twitter today, both Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions revealed that Death Stranding for PlayStation 4 won’t be at E3 2017, as they’re “fully focused on development.”

In a follow-up tweet, Kojima sent out the above image, saying, “Here’s the only new information I can present at this time.”

As Kojima mentioned, he’ll be joining Geoff Keighley on Wednesday, June 14 for an hour-long discussion at E3 Coliseum 2017 beginning at 3:15pm PT/6:15pm ET. The panel should be livestreamed on Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, and Facebook Live, and this is what you can expect:

A one-on-one session looking back at the career of Hideo Kojima, led by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, director of Kong: Skull Island. These two creative forces will share the stage to discuss the fusion of gaming and cinema. Mr. Kojima will discuss his cinematic influences and how they have allowed him to make masterworks of his own.

In late April, Kojima said Death Stranding development was “going pretty well.”
