At the Microsoft E3 2017 press conference, popular PC third-person survival shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was announced to be coming to the Xbox One as a “console launch exclusive.”
The wording used could mean that the game will come to the Xbox One only as a timed exclusive possibly implying that it could also come to the PlayStation 4 eventually. This isn’t the first time a game has come out on consoles as timed exclusive. Rise of the Tomb Raider was exclusive to the Xbox One for an entire year before it came out on the PlayStation 4.
