E3 2017 – Life Is Strange: Before the Storm Will Be Six to Nine Hours Long, Eight to Ten Weeks Between Episodes

Life Is Strange: Before the Storm was one of the more surprising announcements during the Microsoft E3 press conference. While the prequel was announced at the conference to be split into three episodes, as opposed to the original’s five, developer Deck Nine Games has now detailed just how long the entire game will be and how long players will have to wait before each episode is released.

Speaking to PlayStation Trophies, Deck Nine Games revealed that the game’s three episodes will total to around “six to nine hours” long depending on how quickly the player goes through each episode, with each episode lasting between two to three hours.

As for the break between episode releases, the first one comes out on August 31, the developer has told Game Informer that Before the Storm will follow a similar release schedule as the original game, with eight to ten weeks between each episode release.

As previously mentioned, the first episode of Life Is Strange: Before the Storm is scheduled for release on August 31, 2017, for the PlayStation 4 and other platforms.
