As part of Sony’s event-long coverage of E3, Bandai Namco takes the spotlight as it features over 10 minutes of Ace Combat 7 gameplay on the PlayStation 4. Prepare to watch bits of the story mode where we can see dialogue appearing on the HUD t give us exposition, as well as distract us from the thing that really matters — killing bad dudes in jets.
If there was ever a game made for the PlayStation VR, it’s Ace Combat. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be an ace pilot taking out bogies, doing barrel rolls and zooming past everyone on a jet? Fortunately, that will be a reality with Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Imagine yourself strapped with your PSVR, taking out jets and have Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” blaring on your audio device of choice. Yeah, I’ll stop with the Top Gun references now.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be flying its way out to the PS4 (with PSVR support), Xbox One and PC sometime in 2018.
