In a video featuring Executive Producer Adi Shankar and Dracula voice actor Graham McTavish, the voice cast for Netflix’s upcoming Castlevania animated series was revealed:
- Graham McTavish (Cutter in Uncharted, Dwalin in The Hobbit) as Dracula
- Richard Armitage (Thorin in The Hobbit) as Trevor Belmont
- James Callis (Gaius Baltar in Battlestar Galactica) as Alucard
- Alejandra Reynoso (Winx Club) as Sypha Belnades
- Emily Swallow (The Mentalist, Supernatural) as Lisa Tepes, the wife of Dracula and mother to Alucard
- Matt Frewer (Max Headroom) as The Bishop
- Tony Amendola (Continuum) as The Elder
The first season of Castlevania premieres on July 7 with four 30-minute episodes. The second season will arrive next year.
“A vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself,” the description says. “Inspired by the classic video games.”
