While a Friday the 13th: The Game patch just got released last week, IllFonic has released a new update today, and it fixes quite a few things that needs fixing.
If you turned on your PlayStation 4 and checked the “update history,” you should see the following tweaks:
Version 1.07
Following bugs were fixed.
- Fixes random character select not working
- Fixes spawning with a perk not working
- Fixes corrupted controller image
In addition to the Friday the 13th: The Game title update, the studio also released a hotfix today that fixes the perk system, so that’s two tweaks for the horror game in just 24 hours.
An additional follow up PS4 hotfix has been posted that fixed the perk system. Just a heads up.

With IllFonic’s continuous updates, Friday the 13th: The Game should be getting better and better compared to its initial release. It definitely has the premise down pat; glad to see the technical issues that prevented it from being a great game are being addressed bit by bit.
