The sequel to Bungie’s beloved shared world shooter is just around the corner, but before we can get to release, we need to play the beta. Unlocked today for early access to PS4 Guardians, the Destiny 2 beta includes the first story mission, a three player strike, and a chance to check out the Crucible redesign on two modes, Control and Countdown. We’re also getting the chance to go hands on with the three new subclasses, as well as three of the reworked original subclasses.
If you didn’t manage to get a code to check out the early access beta, our livestream will make sure you don’t miss out. Today we’ll be running through as much of the content as we can, primarily as the Sentinel Titan (Titan mains for life!), but I will try and change up classes if I have the chance. If you’ve got any questions, throw them in the stream chat and I will address them when I can. If you want to check out Destiny 2 yourself, the open beta will start on Friday, July 21st.
