THQ Nordic Will Announce Two New Games at gamescom 2017 Next Month

THQ Nordic has revealed that they’ll be announcing two new games at gamescom 2017, which begins on August 22.

The first announcement will be for a brand new original open-world RPG “set in a unique universe and will be a post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable.” The second announcement will be for a “new installment of a well-known, mysterious, and horrific IP.”

Along with those two new titles, THQ Nordic’s biggest gamescom lineup yet will also include ELEX, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, SpellForce 3, Aquanox: Deep Descent, The Guild 3, and Wreckfest.

Here’s what they said about the three games coming to PlayStation 4:

  • Journalists and players alike can look forward to playing a near-to-final version of ELEX, the open world RPG from Piranha Bytes on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
  • Battle Chasers: Nightwar was nominated for the “Best RPG of E3” award and is shaping up nicely for its multi-platform release on October 3rd. For the first time, you can get your hands on the game on the Nintendo Switch.
  • The recently announced cooperation with Bugbear Entertainment for Wreckfest allows the game to make a pit stop at gamescom where it will show off a raft of new content for upcoming updates.

What do you think the new installment “of a well-known, mysterious, and horrific IP” will be?
