Overshadowing a week where the PlayStation 4 crossed five million units sold lifetime, Splatoon 2 for Nintendo Switch moved more than 648,000 copies last week in Japan. As a result, Switch hardware sales more than tripled to 99,000.
Looking at the PS4 milestone, the number includes PS4 (4.69 million) and PS4 Pro (317,000) sales. Compared to the PS3, the PS4 reached 5 million units sold one week earlier (Week 179 vs Week 180).
