In the latest issue of Weekly Jump, the magazine has revealed that the upcoming game, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will allow players to create their own ninja and hopefully their own ninja way. Sorry, had to get in that annoying Naruto saying just once in this article.
Players will be given the ability to customize their character’s hair, eyes, eyebrows, mouth, and nose, along with the weapon their ninja will be using and the ninjutsu at their disposal. A few more details from the magazine were revealed (translation via Gematsu), such as the Story, VR, and Boruto himself.
- Story
It is the era of The Seventh Hokage’s governance of Konoha. In order to determine the strongest Shinobi, the martial arts tournament known as the “Shinobi League” was going to be held… There, one after the other, those who aspire to be the strongest Shinobi appear.
- VR Ninjutsu Arena
There will be a virtual reality ninjutsu arena where you can perform virtual combat with Shinobi of the past in order to learn new ninjutsu.
- Boruto
Boruto Uzumaki is a playable character. He is an Attack-type fighter.
Gameplay was recently released showcasing multiple classes and roles in battle. Per the trailer overview, a balanced team will be crucial to survive in this game, so you can’t always go full on attack everyone! Does anyone plan to pick this up when it releases and if so, what ninjutsu and weapon will you be selecting?
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will be releasing early 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
