The PlayStation Blog has revealed that Starfire is coming to Injustice 2 on Tuesday, August 8. NetherRealm is holding a livestream at 1pm PT/4pm ET today where they should officially announce the release date.
According to the blog post, Starfire will be available tomorrow for Season Pass (Fighter Pack 1/Ultimate Pack) holders only, then everyone else will have the chance to buy Starfire beginning on Tuesday, August 15. Expect Starfire to cost $5.99 USD on her own.
Here’s the description for Starfire:
As the next Queen of Tamaran, Princess Koriand’r found herself the victim of her fratricidal sister’s vengeful plot that resulted in their planet being conquered. Now a royal exile on Earth, Koriand’r uses her ability to absorb and convert ultraviolet energy as Starfire.
Starfire is the final character included in Fighter Pack 1, which also comes with Sub-Zero and Red Hood.
Injustice 2 received an update last week that added Tournament Shaders and more.
