Running until August 13 at 4:59pm PT, the For Honor Free Weekend is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. To access it, head over to the PlayStation Store and download the 32GB file (PlayStation Plus membership required).
“All players will have full access to the game’s content for the duration of the free weekend, including five intense multiplayer modes, a campaign playable solo or with a friend in online co-op, as well as the entire roster of diverse heroes and unique maps that have been updated over six months of gameplay changes,” Ubisoft says.
Should you decide to buy For Honor, it’s 50% off during the Free Weekend for PS+ members, meaning you can get the game for $29.99 USD or the game + Season Pass for $49.99 USD. All the progress you make during the Free Weekend will transfer over to the full game.
On August 15, For Honor Season 3, Grudge & Glory, will kick off. In the new trailers today, Ubisoft shows off the new Heroes (the Highlander and Gladiator) and new maps (Sentinel and Viking Village):
The maps will be free to all players, and the Heroes will be available for 15,000 Steel beginning on August 22. Expect the Season 3 patch notes (all 22 pages of them) to be up soon.
For Honor will get Season 4 in November, with dedicated servers “further down the development schedule.”
