Techland Announces Co-Op Action Game God’s Trigger

Techland has announced that they’ve picked up God’s Trigger, a bloody overhead co-op action title, and have set an early 2018 release date for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. While God’s Trigger was originally announced all the way back in 2015, next to no information about the game was actually revealed. Now, the title has resurfaced and Techland is set to publish it.

Check out the reveal trailer for the overhead co-op action title below:

God's Trigger | Reveal Trailer

God’s Trigger seems to really invoke Hotline Miami in terms of style, especially with the overhead viewpoint and the excessive violence, but it seems as though this title is focused more on destruction than it is running through a level perfectly without taking a hit. Regardless, it’s clear that a key draw of God’s Trigger is the two-player co-op, as Harry and Judy need to work together to survive this ordeal.

Gematsu managed to get a little more information on God’s Trigger:

Get ready for a bloodbath of apocalyptic proportions in the new co-op action game, God’s Trigger.

God’s Trigger takes co-op teamwork to a completely new level as it throws together the odd-couple of an Angel and a Demoness, who must work together to defeat the Four Horsemen before they destroy all life on Earth.

We will report on more about God’s Trigger as it becomes available. God’s Trigger is set to release in early 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
