Bandai Namco Entertainment have released two new playable mobile suit DLCs for Gundam Versus in Japan today. The new additions include Baund Doc and Ground Heavy Equipment Type Pale Rider.
Baund Doc is from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. This is the final mobile suit piloted by Jerid Messa in his fight against arch-nemesis Kamille Bidan. With an in-game cost of 400 points, Baund Doc is equipped with Beam Saber and Claw Arm for melee weapons, as well as Beam Rifle and Scattering Mega Particle Gun for ranged weapons. It can also transform for faster travel speed.
Although mainly piloted by Jerid Messa, by progressing through Baund Doc’s development tree, Rosamia Badam can also be unlocked as an alternate pilot.
Pale Rider (Ground Heavy Equipment Type) is from the PlayStation 3 game Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link. The prototype mobile suit is piloted by Chloe Croce.
At an in-game cost of 400 points, the Ground Heavy Equipment Type variant is equipped with Beam Saber, 90mm Machine Gun, Giant Gatling, and Leg Missile Launcher. It also comes with the HADES system, which if activated will raise the pilot’s fighting ability to match that of Newtypes. However, the HADES system can also go out of control and cause berserk.
Both Baund Doc and Pale Rider are now available for purchase separately on the Japanese PSN Store. Two more DLC mobile suits will be added next week, which are Gundam Gusion Rebake from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans and Perfect Strike Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Phantom Gundam from Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: Ghost is also slated to come in the near future.
