Ending Dragon Quest XI’s reign at the top of the chart was Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo Switch, which sold more than 84,000 copies in its launch week. Likely because the Switch console was back in stock, Splatoon 2 sales were up by 20,000 week-on-week to over 54,000, helping it reach 2nd on the chart.
Also thanks to that stock refresh, Switch sales were up by 47,000, easily putting it back in 1st place after a PlayStation 4 victory in the previous week.
Looking at PlayStation games on the software chart, Dragon Quest XI was the best with 22,600 sold. Right behind it was Megadimension Neptunia VIIR for PS4, with Yomawari: Midnight Shadows for PS4 and PS Vita a little further down the chart.
