Nippon Ichi Software has published the second Japanese trailer for the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain, which will be released on September 28, 2017.
This dungeon crawler RPG was originally released for PlayStation Vita on June 23, 2016. However, Nippon Ichi later announced that it will be also released for the PS4. Being an almost direct port, there will be no new gameplay features added here. However, the PS4 version will be exclusively getting a total of 14 new visuals and voice types for each of the 8 Facets (character classes). The number of design and voice choices selectable for each Facet at the beginning of the game has also been increased from 2 to 3.
In the trailer, you can see the new Facet visuals for Aster Knight, Shinobushi, Theatrical Star, Peer Fortress, Marginal Mage, Mad Raptor, Gothic Coppelia, and Demon Reaper. Nippon Ichi also reminded that they will re-release the limited edition, which includes 22 original tarot cards drawn with characters from Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain, and 2 CDs of the original soundtrack composed by Tenpei Sato.
As of this writing, Nippon Ichi has still yet to announce any plans to localize Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain to the West.
