Moss has today published the Japanese Raiden V Director’s Cut trailer, to gear up for the Japanese release, which is coming there exclusively to PlayStation 4 next week on September 14. The Director’s Cut edition will be also released on Steam internationally, and it will be published by UFO Interactive Games in North America on October 5, and by PQube in Europe on October 6.
Raiden V is a vertical shooter game which was originally released for Xbox One in 2016. The player can choose to pilot one of the three machines available in the game: The balanced Japanese FT-00004A Azuma, the heavily armored American FT-00002C Spirit of Dragon, and the speedy French FT-00003B Moulin Rouge.
The Director’s Cut edition, which will be released on PS4 and Steam, will add more new features such as the long-awaited 2-player co-op, fully voiced story transmissions, and two new Mission Stages where players can rack up medals by damaging bosses without having to worry about taking damage because they are given invincibility in the mode.
Moss will be also releasing Raiden V Director’s Cut Limited Edition in Japan, which will come with the PlayStation 4 version copy of the game, as well as an original soundtrack CD that includes all 22 BGMs used in the game, and a download code for a digital Raiden V art book.
