Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony File Size For PS4 and Vita Revealed

The Danganronpa V3 file size for both the PS4 and Vita versions has been revealed now that review copies are in the wild. Thanks to a post by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier on Twitter, we know that the Vita version will require 3056 MB, which is just over 3 GB.

My own download of the PS4 version shows that you’ll need more than eight times that space on your console hard drive, weighing in at 25.8 GB. It’s not surprising, as Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony on PS4 boasts many visual improvements over the previous Vita games, something I noted when I made my way through the recently released demo for the game.

Danganronpa is a dark visual novel series themed around hope and despair, pitting students against one another in a game of murder. When I reviewed the collection of the first two games on PS4, I called the pacing of the stories “exceptionally thrilling.”

I previously told all Vita owners that they owed it to themselves to play the Danganronpa games. With the move to PS4, I urge the same of all console owners. It’s really exciting that non-Vita players are finally getting a chance to play this series with Danganronpa 1&2 Reload. Even having played them through multiple times before, I found that I couldn’t put the controller down as I experienced them again on PS4, and not just because of my review. Though they start off a little slow, the pace at which they begin to move is exceptionally thrilling, and you’ll find yourself drawn in until the very end, especially if it’s your first time through. My hope is that you’ll give in to the despair that is Danganronpa.

The Danganronpa V3 release date is just around the corner for NA audiences, releasing on September 26.
