Confirming a report from June, the latest issue of V-Jump has revealed the upcoming paid DLC characters joining Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. According to the scans (translated version below via ShonenGames), we’ll get two new characters: a Gohan absorbed Buu, and the demon king Dabura. Additionally, the update will bring in a new sensei, Zamasu, that can teach the players moves in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Moves include instant severance, heavenly arrow, and heavenly wave. As noted above, we’ll get the new DLC alongside a “huge free update” sometime this Winter. Bandai Namco has yet to publish an official press release in the West but we’re likely to hear something very soon. In the meantime, check out our Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 review if you haven’t played it yet. PlayStation LifeStyle’s Keri Honea appreciated the wealth of content that the game comes with and noted that there’s more than enough for players to sink their teeth into outside of the main missions. She further wrote:
Those who never picked up the first title will easily jump into Xenoverse 2 with amazement and wonder and love every minute of it. Those who already played the first game will appreciate the solid online mechanics, but won’t find much motivation in going through a main storyline that they’ve already done time and time again.
We’ll update our readers as soon as Bandai Namco releases more information on the upcoming DLC.
