The voice actress for Aya in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins has been revealed, and it looks like veteran actress Alix Wilton Regan will be taking over the role.

In a recent tweet (above), Regan announced that she would be the one stepping into the role of the female assassin. This won’t be Regan’s first foray into the world of video games, as she has previous credits in games like Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 3, Forza Horizon, and many more.

The demo ended there, but I want to touch on just how beautiful Assassin’s Creed Origins looks. This is not only due to the gorgeous Egyptian setting, which features a natural beauty in its architecture, but also due to Ubisoft creating a wonderful living world. From rowing a boat to walking through the city of Memphis, I was constantly wowed by what I was looking at. It’s one of the most gorgeous games I’ve played, and really shined in 4K.
Historically, I’ve never been the biggest Assassin’s Creed fan (I do love Black Flag, though). Despite this, Origins seems to be fixing a lot of the issues I’ve had with the games in the past (including clunky combat). Thanks to its gorgeous setting, I’m looking forward to seeing how its story of ancient politics will unravel when it releases October 27, 2017.
Assassin’s Creed Origins releases on October 27 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
