Star Wars Battlefront II Beta Gets New Mode

With the Star Wars Battlefront II beta coming up very soon, there has been a brand new mode revealed to the game that players will be able to experience in the beta.

While players will already be able to experience the new class-based multiplayer in the beta, fans can also play the all new Arcade mode, which is essentially offline play that allows you to take on AI enemies in order to hone your skills. In the beta, players can choose from competing in a 10-on-10 team battle with AI allies and enemies, or a Hero vs. many scenario where you can take control of Darth Maul and fight against a legion of enemies on Naboo.

The Arcade mode in the beta takes place on the Theed map, but the full version of the game will allow you to try out the mode across all three eras of Star Wars, Also revealed today was a brand new, 5 minute long trailer for the game narrated by Star Wars star John Boyega. In it, the actor goes over the various changes that have been made for this sequel, including the class-based multiplayer action, the changes to the star cards, and the inclusion of crates.

Star Wars Battlefront II releases on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The beta begins on October 4 for those who pre-order the game now, and October 6 for the general public.
