It looks like four of Rockstar Games classic PlayStation 2 titles are coming to PS4, as several titles from the prolific publisher appeared on the ESRB’s website. The games include: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, and Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition. This is especially great news for Midnight Club fans, as the series hasn’t been seen since its last installment on PlayStation 3, 2008’s Midnight Club: Los Angeles.
The listing has since been removed, but GamesRadar was able to take a screenshot of the site while they were still up. Check out the listing below, with the added bonus of the Superstar Saga remake being listed as well:
These listings shouldn’t come as a total surprise, as the Red Dead Redemption 2 developer has supported Sony’s PS2-on-PS4 initiative. Multiple titles from Rockstar Games’ past are available for Playstation 4 including Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Max Payne, Bully, and several others. Obviously these ports have proved to be a successful venture, or otherwise they wouldn’t be adding more PS2 games to the PlayStation 4’s library. These updated titles include PS4 features such as screenshots, video recording, and have complete trophy lists filled with different tasks for players to complete.
Which of the four Rockstar PS4 games are you most excited about playing again? Are there any games in their remaining catalog that you’d like to also see ported to PlayStation 2? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below!
